Good food, good times. Great, fast service. Wide selection of food for breakfast lunch or dinner. Accessible place with a beautiful view, even a scavenger hunt for the kids.

My husband and I are traveling along the coast for our honeymoon and found this place in a guide book. It's just a little ways off the main highway but definitely worth the detour. As well as all the cheese samples in the main store. A MUST for true.Cheese lovers. I will go ahead and say this is the best grill cheese I've ever had. I also did the tomato soup which I thought was ok. It's really just my personal preference, but I like mine kinda creamy mainly because I'm not a big tomato lover. It was a little spicy and just not my style. I did dip my grill cheese in it and liked it a lot that way. We will definitely be back next time we are driving the coast!!!

I've eaten here multiple times and always make it a point to stop by whenever we're on the coast. I keep bringing people by and they love it as well. Today we had a wonderful lunch and had a very easygoing and fun conversation with Jeff. I look forward to stopping by again in the near future.

Enter “Loleta Cheese Factory” to find the “Queso King” - it’s worth the hunt, but Loleta is automatically off-the-beaten-path so a sign in the window would be helpful. You may also enter “Queso King” through the garden gate.Lots of fancified choices, but I just had the basic grilled cheese sandwich to experience the *purity of cheeses* and wasn’t disappointed. Cup of tomato soup on the side had a very pleasant unique flavor that I also enjoyed and recommend. Pardon my lack of spice-identities.My drink was included.The garden is fabulous so please enjoy it!If you’re traveling north, why not pull off the highway before Eureka for a quiet meal? I would. If you’re traveling south, why not pull off the highway south of Eureka for a road meal? I would.Easy and plentiful street parking.

OMG didn't know this placed was attached to the Loleta Cheese Factory and you just have to have a delicious fresh grill cheese to your liking. Definitely coming back again, again and again.

The food is consistently well prepared and flavorful, staff members hands out great customer service. I like how clean it is and ambience. I highly recommend this place.

This place will never be boring. Between the tasty and creative grilled cheese sandwiches coupled with the garden to eat in on those sunnier days, I would eat here daily if I didn't need to be careful about my weight!

Delicious grilled cheese sandwiches with creative additions. We stopped here for lunch on our way through town during a road trip. We weren’t sure what to expect but it exceeded all expectations. If you’re ever near Eureka, you must stop and get a grilled cheese.

I love this place! Small and quaint as both a storefront and a sandwich shop in front of an actual cheese factory. All the cheeses are made in house with tons of locally-sourced organic ingredients. You get to watch your food be made. And afterwards the small storefront features tons of local cheeses fruits and jams and cured meats and other really awesome items.

Inside Loleta Cheese Factory. Was made to order and customized based on request. When weather is nice, beautiful gardens to eat in. Was good food. Soup and sandwiches both were delish.

It was delicious, but expensive for a grilled cheese sandwich. They sell a wonderful selection of various artisan cheese. That was worth it!!

Oh. My. God. The hype is absolutely worth it. You have to try the sweet versions. So phenomenal! And the one with brisket smelled divine, and my kid said it was delicious. Oh, and don't forget to taste all of the wonderful cheeses in the shop! Smoked gouda for the win!

Great service, awesome selection of food, beautiful garden. It's not the most food for your money but it's definitely better than most places around the Eureka area. Went there once and really enjoyed it, plan to go again for another combination of delicious cheeses.They're connected to a cheese shop that has all of your favourite cheeses available for you to purchase should you decide you want to recreate your favourite sandwich at home.Edit: I went again, and I have to rate it another 5 stars. Jeff was AMAZING. He had such a great sense of humor and was so quick witted. We absolutely adored him and we're definitely coming again!

Had to order to go, but holy cow! The "Hot as Hell" is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! Can't wait to go back

Love queso kings. But its to bad it had to come to the end with the closure of humboldt creamery.

Well worth the visit because of a spectacular garden in which to eat. The grilled cheeses are flavorful and fun.

Absolutely stellar. The sandwiches are toasted golden brown, oozing with cheese and whatever other ingredients you pick. I had the Mardi Gras, nice and spicy, and added avocado and red onions-so good! And you can sit inside or outside, and the garden outside is very colorful and so lush! The proprietor is very friendly, and really funny-check this place out.

Although my husband and I just ate I knew that I would not have another opportunity to go to a grilled cheese bar before we left in the morning. When you enter in through the gate you will see a beautiful Garden patio where they have limited seating. They also host small scavenger hunts as a cute little activity while you wait. I was very disappointed with my grill cheese sandwich. I expected to bite into it and have cheese melting out, not the case. I actually had to separate the bread to see if there was cheese in it. We had the Bay area brisket and the After school special and 1 beer and coke, total $23.00. If there were obvious amounts of cheese in our sandwiches I would think the price was good. The cheese selection in there store area was very limited. I don't think it's worth visiting.

If you like cheese melted between bread. Go here. It's amazing. I got one with brisket in it. Mouth watering! My wife got one with sausage and apples. Also very good. And there were more choices to be had!They also have a pretty nice garden that has a scavenger hunt, which the kiddo really had fun with. Check the pix and go eat here.

Who knew grilled cheese sandwiches could be so good! We love the combinations with meat and usually a couple different locally made cheese all grilled and crunchy on sourdough bread. There's also several sweet combos with mild soft cheeses and local jam - original and worth a try. Then there is the beautiful garden where you can find a spot to eat your lunch then try the scavenger hunt for kids and the young at heart. Afterwards you can taste the many cheeses and buy some to take home!

Cute cheese factory but the sandwiches weren't that amazing in my opinion. The smoke on the cheese and meats was overpowering. But the gardens were pretty and the surrounding town is quaint and adorable. They said the old creamery across the street was in the movie Halloween, and they were right. Lol

Stopped in for coffee because it was early in the morning. They were preparing mountains of cheese for their grilled cheese, which I guess is their favorite. Don't make the mistake I did and leave without trying one. There's a cute outdoor garden seating area too.

Great "cheesy" experience here at the Loleta Cheese Factory! Great cheese and see the whole process, taste dozens of their styles (all great) and purchase an excellent grilled cheese sandwich from a creative and varied selection on great locally made breads. Eat comfortably in one of the beautiful tables in their beautiful English gardens.

This place is kickass. They use cheese from the cheese factory. You can taste test the cheese while u wait. They have sweet and savory. Eating outside in the flower garden is a treat in it own. Me and my family really enjoy this place
